MAN ONE

Man One began painting on the streets as a teenager but decided to pursue his talents professionally and eventually, earned a B.A. degree in Fine Arts from Loyola Marymount. He now owns a gallery called Crewest in downtown L.A. and has had his pieces featured in museums around the world and in commercials.

In September 2007, Man One helped organize a city-approved, graffiti art event at the L.A. River called “Meeting of Styles LA.” Over 100 artists gathered for two days to paint on the sloping walls of the river at the Arroyo Seco Confluence in Highland Park. A few weeks later, county officials changed their minds and painted over their work.
